Heather & Carter :: 04.29.23
While we are fans of every season at Cedarwood, there’s something about spring! Especially when our couples choose colorful spring style for their Nashville wedding. Heather and Carter wanted to celebrate their nuptials with celebratory spring hues of hot pink, peach, yellow and pops of blue and purple. Nothing sound more joyful than that color palette! Our team went to work creating a spring garden feel from entrance to exit. With flowers adorning the front of our historic estate, lining the walkway and topping the welcome table, guests were greeted with spring blooms at ever turn amongst our 50 acre Nashville estate.
Heather and Carter’s whole wedding party were feeling the joy of spring too in shades of blue and grey that really tied it all together. When guests were greeted by a garden arch in our rolling meadow, Heather stole the show and Carter’s eyes in her gorgeous floral lace gown as she walked toward her groom. Once I do’s were exchanged, guests were welcomed to our historic barn for cocktail hour and the grand pavilion for an evening dinner reception.
Tables were topped with high and low centerpieces lit by copious candles that shone like the stars.
Our floral team combined roses, delphinium, bornonia, stock and scabiosa for lush texture and pops of color. The staircase between our upper and. lower pavilions is a fan favorite to decorate and we love the colorful cascade of floral peppered with candles ushering guests from one space to the next. In our lower pavilion, guests enjoyed signature drinks and dancing until it was dark surrounded by our gardens and newlywed love. Nights like these are why we do what we do and we are forever grateful to each and every couple that calls Historic Cedarwood their wedding venue.
