How cool is it to meet your wedded partner at a wedding? Laren and Barry first met around the fire pit at their friends wedding in Austin. They hit it off  but didn’t talk again until one month later when they found themselves attending a second reception – this time in Chicago.  Sometimes life leads us in the direction of our hearts.  Laren and Barry liked Cedarwood’s lush grounds and gardens, perfect for their storybook romance in the garden wedding style. The ultimate storybook event of the day was Laren and Barry sharing their vows in our secret garden before the ceremony. Be still our hearts.

Floral design was a top priority for Laren, and included a stellar line up of Peonies, Garden Roses, Ranunculus and Dahlias gracing bouquets, altar and tables. We loved Bridesmaids in “Air of Romance” maxi dress by Lulu’s and Laren in her Willowy bridal gown. Barry and Laren wanted an intimate wedding ceremony followed by a vibrant party with lots of warmth, fun, laughter and of course lots of love.
