Karen and Jamie‘s fall Cedarwood wedding evokes their love of the ocean and vacations on the California coast with an ethereal blend of slate blue, gray and sage.  Jamie’s look is effortlessly cool (he’s a suit designer in Chicago) accessorized with a floral pocket square.  Karen looks like a bohemian goddess in her Lazaro gown flanked by bridesmaids in mismatched ocean-hued dresses with sea-inspired bouquets.  Karen and Jamie showed their artistic side by painting a circle of love as their ceremony, the timeless unity symbol that was repeated in floral and decor throughout their wedding styling.

Nashville tributes in the form of a guitar guestbook, favors, and Jamie’s cufflinks are spot on for a destination wedding. Karen and Jamie’s reception design was an ethereal interpretation with ocean elements, blue linen, and vintage blue glassware.  Cohesive, creative and personally expressive. That’s the way to do it!
