Sarah and Lee chose Historic Cedarwood as their wedding venue based on Julie Paisley’s photo of our Cedar Cottage published in Southern Living Magazine (and House Beautiful, among others!) We consider their decision to plan a cross-country destination wedding, from California to Nashville, Tennessee, quite an honor! Our design team loved blending California chic with the cottage-romantic estate style that Cedarwood is known for.

A wonderful example of this juxtaposition is Sarah, in her stunning cut-out-back, beaded-bodice bridal gown, surrounded by a bevy of sweet flower girls in ruffles and flower crowns.  Elegant style + a refined and relaxed casual vibe = Cedarwood’s signature style.
