Historic Cedarwood‘s 50 acre Tennessee estate is comprised of rolling meadows, lakeside woods and deep forests – and even a vintage Airstream! For this editorial shoot with SWAK (Sealed with a Kiss) Photography, our couple decided to take the road less traveled. Their intimate autumn celebration is styled in a magical woodland setting for al fresco nuptials and brunch with a vintage twist.
The Cedarwood design team junxaposed seasonal colors and comforts with otherwise wild land by adding layers of glowing candles, warm throws and a vintage fireplace altar, creating the ultimate romantic refuge. We love designer gowns worn in unexpected places, and the bride’s Rue De Seine fit the idyllic setting like an enchanted fairy damsel. Designs in Paper created a custom, elegant-rustic paper suite (we adore the poetry “statement” program!) that set just the right tone. Surrounded by raw natural beauty, Cedarwood designers added a tablescape with vintage crystal and velvet with earthy terrarium-inspired florals and a pancake stacked cake for a luxurious brunch experience.
