Photography by Julie Paisley
We cherish brides unafraid to challenge the status quo and embrace the unconventional. Cedarwood Weddings’ editorial fashion shoot with Julie Paisley evokes the feminist spirit of the 70’s with Rue De Seine‘s stunning Zepplin gown featuring long angle sleeves and a front split opening. Cedarwood’s design team loves soft accents that have a bit of an edge, like the custom-designed asymmetrical pampas grass altar (and hand torn edge invitations by Designs in Paper.) Whimsical floral design encased in glass, wood and wire, with grasses, dahlias, proteas and succulents, bring a touch of vintage festival flair to the elegant table dressed in warm neutral tones with a flowing Honey Silks Co. runner. A vintage Flokali rug anchors the hand painted watercolor ruffled wedding cake by Nashville Sweets, on a gilded mirror table, reflecting our eclectic style.
And just like the beautifully bold women leading the feminist wave, our bride’s free-spirited sense of identity shines through. Captured by Julie Paisley Photography in a parade of high fashion, vintage hats and sunglasses, this beautiful bride is the real deal – both sweet and daring, soft and strong.
