We fell in love with Mia Vawter when she was maid of honor at her sister’s Cedarwood wedding. As a member of the College of Charleston equestrian team and a champion rider, we naturally asked Mia to model for an equestrian bridal editorial shoot we designed for Julie Paisley to photograph for a national wedding magazine.

In the Tennessee countryside, horse farms flourish and riding is a sport of passion.  Our design team had much to work with when styling a derby-esque setting on our estate venue’s 50 acres, featuring details honoring a bride’s love of horses and riding. A blush and blackberry color palette is soft and strong, just like Mia and “Princess” as they celebrate in a bounty of floral beauty.

Thank you Mia!  You are such a beauty in your Sara Seven gown and natural HMU by Leslie Ellis.  Gratitude to the gentle Appaloosa “Princess” and all the resident “horse-wisperers” who helped with this day. Kudos to Donette at Designs in Paper for adding a spark of creativity to Cedarwood style with beautiful paper goods. Our admiration to Ila at  LVD Bridal, who has a talent for helping every bride select the perfect dress to express her own personal wedding style.  We are grateful to another opportunity to celebrate our work and friendship with Julie Paisley, one of the most talented and published film photographers across the country.
