Hope is a Tennessee girl who met the love of her life in London. She and Freddie live there, and planned their Nashville, Tennessee destination wedding from the UK. Hope and Freddie had booked Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett for their nuptials, and we must thank Hope’s mother, Martha Chapman, for finding Historic Cedarwood for their Nashville reception venue! To help simplify planning their destination wedding, Cedarwood’s design team created and installed the ceremony decor and flowers at the church – the first stage of Hope’s magical garden fairytale wedding style.
Since most guests were traveling from afar to celebrate with Hope and Freddie, they wanted to showcase a bit of southern culture and cuisine, starting with bluegrass music and a garden cocktail party on the Cedarwood antebellum lawn as guests arrived. A built-in bonus at Cedarwood is the always gorgeous green terrain Tennessee is famous for. Lush floral centerpieces, hanging floral chandeliers and blooming trees in the reception pavilion truly created a fairytale setting at dinner. Hope and Freddie are a stunning couple, and we love every detail of their day, captured by Erin Lee Allender Photography. Enjoy!
Thank you Hope and Freddie for including Cedarwood in such a gracious and grand wedding celebration. Thanks also Erin Lee Allender for sharing images for our blog!
