Lindsay and Matthew both grew up in Florida, but always knew they would get married elsewhere. Lindsay said she always thought Nashville would be perfect (and have cooler weather!) for a destination wedding. She shares, “As we searched online, we came across Cedarwood. While visiting Nashville in April, we decided to just swing by for a visit. It was everything I’d ever dreamed of! We hadn’t planned on choosing a venue before we were engaged, but we paid the deposit that day! Other than the beauty, we love it because Cedarwood takes care of everything—beneficial when this is our “destination” wedding.”
Matthew and Lindsay know their relationship is divinely led, and they wanted to honor their faith as a part of their ceremony. Lindsay told our design team she wanted their wedding to be beautiful, yet unique to them. We were inspired to create a draped altar that literally glowed with candlelight. So romantic! A favorite bible verse of Linda and Matthew’s, “A cord of three strands is not easily broken”, was an appropriate detail added into their rich, colorful fall wedding day decor. We adore the favors Lindsay and Matthew gave guests: Cedarwood scented candles! Robbie Followell of followell fotography shared these images with us….enjoy!
Congratulations Lindsay and Matthew. We are touched by your genuine and loving selves. Thanks for choosing Cedarwood, and a special thanks to followell fotography for sharing these photos for our blog.
