We love a good southern tradition – especially when it involves bourbon! According to southern folklore, if you bury a bottle of bourbon exactly one month before your ceremony, on-site at your wedding venue, it will ward away the rain! The bottle of bourbon must also be unopened, full and upside down. You then dig it up on your wedding day with your wedding party and enjoy a taste to celebrate the clear skies!
A few fun-loving Cedarwood Weddings couples have partaken in this tradition and the photos are some of our favorites! Check out the fun and let us know – will you bury the bourbon?
