A single mother of two and a two-time combat marine, Courtney and Jason merged their life experiences and their hearts into a new family.  Courtney told us, “Jason showed up at all the same places flashing that beautiful smile, but it took five months for me to agree to have dinner together. I’d love to say we hit it off at first date, but as two strong-willed people, we actually butted heads. Relationships are about work and compromise, and we’re hard workers.”  Their labor of love proved incredibly powerful, and on June 13, we had the immense privilege of witnessing their amazing romantic gold and jewel-toned Cedarwood wedding.  

Courtney told us that Jason is a hopeless romantic, and the amount of candlelight Cedarwood uses in our event design was key in choosing our Nashville wedding venue.  They wanted  guests to feel comfortable instead of formal, and Historic Cedarwood‘s property lends itself perfectly to this type of celebration.  Purples, plums, fuchsia and blackberry toned flowers with lots of fruit and berries is a naturally lush look, made even richer with gold and lace.  We are obsessed with the styling of Courtney and Jason’s Cedarwood wedding, and their wedding images by Nyk + Cali | Wedding Photographers.  Enjoy.
