We love a bride who is passionate about her wedding day –  like Lindsay – who says she’s been planning her wedding since she was three years old & playing with Barbies. 🙂  While planning her amazing wedding date of 5.5.15, Lindsay told us, “I love reading wedding blogs and scrolling through Pinterest. Wedding Chicks and Style Me Pretty are my daily reads (even before we got engaged).  Historic Cedarwood offers a naturally rustic atmosphere that we can “glam up” and that was exactly what I was looking for in a Nashville wedding venue.  After meeting with the Cedarwood design team and seeing everything they had to use to design the ceremony and reception, it brought together everything I ever wanted for our wedding day. Wade is a trooper and likes what I like, so that part was easy!”  

And Wade being a trooper groom makes sense, since Lindsay and Wade say they have been best friends for what seems like forever! Their story: “We met in college at the University of Memphis. Wade was in town for his freshman orientation and I was going into my junior year of college. Wade’s best friend from high school, Richie (one of our groomsmen) introduced me to Wade during his visit. We were social friends through college, but it wasn’t until after graduation that Wade asked me out!  We moved from Memphis to Nashville together, took on new jobs, and got engaged all in the same year. We truly balance each other out in so many ways and that is what makes our relationship work. Wade is the most kind-hearted person and would do anything for anyone and that’s what initially attracted me to him. He teaches me every day what love really is – not just love for me but love for his family, his friends and God. He loves our bulldog Bruce more than anything, and I can only imagine how much he will love our children one day. It was everything I wanted in a husband and more.”  … We melt.

What an amazing relationship!  Lindsay and Wade, you are blessed, and we feel blessed through our connection with you.  Your love story and journey is pure magical, resulting in a lovely spring Cedarwood wedding, honeymoon in Riviera Maya, and building and moving into your first home together this July.  Congratulations!  Thanks so much to Krista Lee Photography for sharing your delightful wedding photos!
