The Cedarwood Weddings design team loves experimenting with decor and floral elements to create inspirational settings that show the versatility of props and style available to our couples. This year’s Cedarwood Style Show was an opportunity to let each of our designers create their own tables, and today we are sharing the “Moss and Marsala” table by Molly Mauney.
Molly shares: “Inspired by the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, my vision for this table was rich and deep. Fresh live moss and moss-colored napkins add a feeling of outdoor luxury – a sense of being surrounded by earth and all its deep hues. Gold vessels and chairs play off black and natural wood. Black and purple dinnerware (with coordinated yet unmatched vintage glassware for added interest) lay the foundation for pops of metallic color and texture. The gold foil invitation by Designs in Paper on black card stock perfectly reflects the dark richness of the tablescape. Adding final drama to the table are the hanging emerald wine lights. Dripping with vibrant masala, plum and purple-hued flowers and greenery, they add a sense of enclosed intimacy…and who doesn’t love extra candlelight?”
Gorgeous, unique, and full of rich drama. We love it Molly! Thanks again to Designs in Paper and Kristyn Hogan for helping complete and document Molly’s “Moss and Marsala” table!
