Skyler and Haley are unquestionably one of the most gorgeously-stylish couples you’ll ever meet.  They met when Skyler’s family moved to Lexington from California in the 5^th grade. They were always good friends and grew up right down the street from each other. They didn’t start dating until April of 2011 when Skyler moved back to Lexington for a job in the wine and spirits industry and Haley was living in Lexington as well. They moved to Louisville together at the beginning of 2012 and after a year and a half of living together in Louisville, Skyler got a new job with a wine supplier in Nashville. Haley stayed in Louisville for the next year, traveling back and forth. In October of 2013, Skyler popped the question at Merchants restaurant downtown Nashville, right down the street from their loft. In July of 2014, Haley moved to Nashville for good and they moved into a new town home in East Nashville!

Haley shares her wedding day vision:  “My mother-in-law found Historic Cedarwood online and I fell in love with the venue and location after looking at a few weddings on the Cedarwood blog!  When we were growing up in Lexington, Skyler and I always looked forward to going to getting dressed up for the horse races at Keeneland every spring and fall. We both love Keeneland, horse racing, and getting all dressed up, so we decided to do a black tie themed engagement shoot at Keeneland in March 2014. We also love to reflect our love for horse racing at home with home décor pieces we’ve collected since living together. We wanted to carry out our love for horse racing with subtle details at the wedding.  Skyler and his groomsmen all dressed formal and my bridesmaids wore gorgeous sequined dresses, which photographed beautifully in the gorgeous Cedarwood meadow.  I enjoyed creating special touches incorporating the horse racing theme, including escort cards, name “cards” on the tables, and signs for our chairs.”   Truly stunning at every turn, captured by the seriously talented Aesthetiica Photography, LLC.
