Earth Day :: Cedarwood+Nature

In our natural world, beauty offers  herself  in unexpected places. A drop of dew on morning honeysuckle, rays of light reaching the forest floor, scents of cedar and damp leaves, a tapestry of flowers woven into meadow grasses.   The poet, Rumi, wrote: “Lovers find secret places in this world where they make transactions with beauty.” We believe Historic Cedarwood is one such place.

Cedarwood’s 50 acres of terrain is a wealth of natural beauty.  Our designers take every opportunity to venture into our property’s nature preserve for design inspiration for Cedarwood weddings, and to forage plant materials for floral designs.  Here are a few magical moments and lovers in nature, captured by Cedarwood Weddings photographers, in celebration of Earth Day.
