Cory scores serious accolades for his proposal to Nicole. On a weekend trip to the Smoky Mountains, Cory booked dinner for him and Nicole at Blackberry Farms. After dinner, he guided her on a stroll to the boathouse, which was posted “private function.” Leading her onto the dock, they looked back at a sea of candles and lanterns, and Cory confessed “they” were the “function” as he got down on one knee. Wonderfully romantic!
Uniting personalities and backgrounds through marriage offers lots of opportunity to combine styles when planning a wedding. For Nicole and Cory, vintage meets classic in authentically southern chic style oozing with romance. Nicole wanted a lovely outdoor ceremony, and Cory liked a unique setting and the old barn. Romantic and refined-rustic touches were enhanced by symbolism as a photo progression of bride and groom at various ages, tied along the ceremony aisle, was a visual reminder of stepping into a new future as husband and wife. Enjoy Nicole and Cory’s lovely September celebration, including lively entertainment with legendary performer, Super-T, of The Tyrone Smith Review.
Wonderfully romantic through and through. Thanks Nicole and Cory for allowing Cedarwood to be part of your story, and this soft September celebration. Thanks also to Ace Photography, for sharing photos with us!

As the father of the bride, I want to once again thank the professional staff of Cedarwood for creating a magical experience for Nicole and Cory (and taking the stress and worries off us parents). The staff was incredible, guiding us through the entire process, and attending to every detail. Too many memorable moments to mention, but I will never forget walking my daughter down the aisle that September evening in that spectacular meadow, over a path of rose petals, to the beautiful music of recording artist Pierce Avenue, surrounded by the love of our friends and family.
For those who are searching wedding locations, I would recommend Cedarwood as the perfect venue. They specialize in creating magic.
