Abby and Abe are a fun couple – relaxed, easy and adorable together. A few fun facts: Abe is from Michigan and Abby from Ohio. They met at work thru their ‘mutual people.’ Abe’s co-worker, a friend of Abby’s father, informed Abe that Abby had a crush on him. Abby’s father told him so. They have rival alma maters, leading to some exciting football games (Abby scored again this year when Ohio State won the national championship!) A tornado delayed their first date a couple of hours. While the storm hit the city just south of their home, Abby was stuck sitting in a hallway at work. Their first vacation together was in Nashville, which is why they chose a Nashville destination wedding. They love Hatch Show Print and visited often, so with the help of Designs in Paper, created their wedding invitation in a similar style. Abby told Abe that if he were ever to propose, he should make sure she was in cute clothes and all dolled up. Instead, he proposed while she was wearing yoga pants and a tee-shirt. Much of Abby and Abe’s wedding was planned via Skype with the Cedarwood design team, while Abe was working in Mexico. Fantastic job, we must say!
We are crushing hard on Abby’s blush ombre wedding gown and her gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous wedding day look. As a reminder to relax her face during the ceremony, Abby ordered a handkerchief for herself embroidered with “no ugly crying,” because she claims to be “a self-confirmed “ugly crier.” We think ugly is a word that could never be associated with Abby! It was perfect that this hanky came in handy for Abby to dot Abe’s tears at the altar! We believe tears of joy perfectly seal the covenant of marriage, and guest are honored to witness it. Abby and Abe’s Cedarwood barn ceremony was intimate and beautiful, just like their simply stunning outdoor couples portraits by Ace Photography. Enjoy!
Congratulations Abby and Abe! We have no doubt that your love will shine forever. Thank you for leaving a bit of it at Cedarwood Weddings. Thanks Ace Photography, for sharing your photos. Lovely!
