Shannon and Scott chose one of our favorite color combinations, dusty shale and gold, when designing their posh Cedarwood wedding. Using vintage and family tributes in a sophisticated way, Shannon calls her wedding style French Country with our own Tennessee twist on that aesthetic. Both busy with high-profile jobs, Shannon and Scott love history, and treasure peaceful countryside settings that beckon relaxation and romance. When looking for a wedding venue, those qualities were top on their priority list. Shannon says many guests traveled to Tennessee for the first time to celebrate their marriage, and she and Scott wanted them to experience an authentic slice of Tennessee beauty in a city they now call home.
Scott fills in, “We met in economics class in college, where I mentioned that I was moving to Nashville and she mentioned that she was from there. After class we started talking and never stopped. Four and a half years later, we got married in Nashville at Cedarwood. We also bought a house, rescued a dog, and have been enjoying our lives together ever since.” We hope you enjoy this gorgeous couple and their Cedarwood wedding, with fantastic images by Rachel Moore.
Thank you Shannon and Scott for sharing your beauty and love with us. And thanks to Shannon for sharing some of the resources that made your wedding so spectacular!
