Ashley grew up in small-town West TN and then headed to college at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Two years later, she decided that she was ready for bigger and better things, which lead her to move to the great city of Knoxville to attend THE University of Tennessee. Ryan spent a majority of his younger years living in northern Virginia until he left the nest and headed south for Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee. That fraternity = Sorority ‘thing’ happened and Ryan and Ashley met. After graduation, Ashley’s graduate program in occupational therapy took her to UT’s Health Science Center in Memphis. Having fallen hard for Tennessee (and a newly started relationship with Ashley), Ryan decided to make his home in Tennessee and settled mid-way between Knoxville and Memphis – Nashville! Ashley snatched the opportunity to move to Nashville for her rotations, and finally she and Ryan were in the same city once again.
We love Ashley’s determination to graduate (two weeks before the wedding, to be exact) and we are so glad she and Ryan chose Cedarwood as their wedding wing team! Enjoy these images of their countryside classic wedding in shades of grape, gray and ivory. Next step for these two? Ryan continues to climb the ladder at Dell and Ashley to pass the boards! And of course, as avid UT fans, their ongoing mantra will be “Go Vols!” Thanks Amber Beckham for sharing these photos with us.
Congratulations Ashley and Ryan! We hope your life is always blessed with true love and touchdowns. “Go Vols!” Naturally Ryan’s groom’s cake was a 3-D replica of the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium (above) by Cedarwood’s always amazing master cake chef, Patty Cakes. Thanks Amber Beckham Photography for sharing your work.
