Kat and Christian‘s blush and navy wedding was preppy in the most romantic way.  This awesome couple met in med school, and when Kat moved to Nashville, Christian followed with a perfectly adorable, well planned proposal.  Kat shares, “It was an October afternoon in the middle of the longest course of medical school, and I had been studying all weekend. Christian knows that two of my favorite autumn things are pumpkin carving and cider mills (I worked at one back in Michigan, but sadly they are few and far between in the southeast), and with the promise of pumpkin carving, donuts, and cider, Christian was able to lure me away from my books. After driving erratically and missing our exit (all of which I found out later was to keep me from seeing any of our friends’ cars), we arrived at a park on a peninsula of one of our favorite lakes. Needless to say, I was a little suspicious, but let him lead me through a path in the woods to a clearing overlooking the lake. We had a perfect view of the sunset, and just as it disappeared over the horizon, our friends Rob and Hillary popped out of the woods with cameras! I looked back at Christian, and he was already down on one knee, explaining how amazing the last few years have been and how he wants to spend the rest of our lives together. He ended with “Kat Weber, will you please marry me?” to which I responded “OF COURSE!” He proposed with a diamond passed down in my family from my great-grandmother in a setting he had designed for me, which made it even more special. All four of us hugged and celebrated, and then he led me to a bonfire, where nearly all of our Nashville friends were waiting to celebrate with champagne, s’mores, and of course apple cider! The night was unbelievably perfect.”
