We just love couples like Allison and Michael!  Easy going, head over heels in love with each other, and naturally comfortable expressing it.  What’s impressive is that their love for each other took 20 years to discover. Allison and Michael grew up in the same town and even lived on the same street, but a three grade difference precluded much social interaction.  Re-acquainted at a home town birthday party in 2012, Allison says: “We immediately connected and fell in love. We feel like God brought us together at the exact right time. When Michael proposed, Amazing Grace was playing and we believe that sums up our love story.”
Allison told us her ideal wedding would be a very peaceful day (great goal for all weddings), romantic and intimate with their close-knit community of family and friends.  That is exactly what was in store on their November 16 vintage-rustic country wedding.  Allison says when she first walked into the Cedarwood barn, she knew she wanted to be married there.  Guests also had many opportunities to enjoy being outside, and Jen and Chris Creed captured amazing photos of Allison and Michael in Cedarwood’s autumn landscapes.  Allison brightened her fall color palette with clover green accents and seasonal organics like pumpkins, leaves and berries. Enjoy this beautiful couple and their colorful fall, vintage-rustic wedding day at Historic Cedarwood!
Thank you Allison and Michael for sharing your love story and your wedding day with us. We wish you the most magical life together. Thanks Jen and Chris Creed for sending over the lovely photos.

The blog write-up is great, and of course, Jen and Chris always take the most amazing photos. We have such fond memories of our wedding day/evening at Cedarwood! Michael says he wants to go back and do it all over again! Thanks so much!
