We are totally honored and flattered when a bride knows she will get married at Cedarwood, even before the proposal, and Hannah knew Historic Cedarwood was “the venue” for her Nashville destination wedding. Her instincts about a pending proposal were spot on, and Josh even arranged for the proposal to take place at Cedarwood (a surprise to Hannah….gotta love this groom!) During their relationship, Hannah moved from Birmingham, AL to Louisville, KY, and having family in both cities, made Nashville a perfect half way point. Hannah was a lucky bride to have the support of both her mom Juliannah and step mother Susan – both with impeccable taste – throughout the planning process. Blending family and extended family was a wonderful process throughout the planning of Hannah and Josh’s April 5, Cedarwood Wedding, and the cornerstone of their celebration.
A relaxed yet elegant environment was important to Hannah and Josh, and our country estate fit the bill perfectly, including a regal setting for their ceremony in the early spring meadow (click here for Part 1 – Outdoor Cathedral Ceremony). Elegance follows Hannah wherever she goes, and the gorgeous mint and grey color palette, soft ivory, blush and peach flowers, exquisite gowns and fine-looking wedding party are just the beginning of the elegantly rustic, southern style for her wedding. Hannah and her mom (an interior designer) infused family touches into the decor, including our favorite: a collection of vintage tablecloths and heirloom china from Hannah’s grandmother that we used to decorate the reception tent. We also love Hannah and Josh’s incredible paper suite by Designs in Paper, including letterpress invitations! Enjoy their day through these images by Nky + Cali, Wedding Photographers.
What an incredible celebration! Congratulations Hannah and Josh. Thanks for choosing Cedarwood to share some incredibly sweet moments with you and your family. Thanks Nyk + Cali for sharing images with us!
