Precious Metals Design Inspiration

Photos by Kristyn Hogan

A frequent event planning question from Cedarwood brides: “Can I mix silver and gold?”  Yes, of course!  Gold, brass, copper, amber and silver in varying finishes and textures create a unified style statement as dramatic as it is romantic. Our design team’s Precious Metals event styling is anchored in modern luxury with pops of vintage flair including nostalgic marque letter lights.

Mixing upscale modern “Amber Zeus” china with heirloom crystal is another purposeful paradox. Candle holders and floral containers are also an eclectic mix of new décor, thrift store finds and re-purposed containers (made new with paint by our design team.)  Gold painted ferns and succulents add a gilded kiss to loosely arranged fresh flowers. This luxurious table-scape could grace a formal ballroom setting, and equally add a rich vibe to historic venues like Cedarwood.  Special thanks to Kristyn Hogan for photos, and other special vendors listed below.
