Aussie, Aqua and Red :: Cori+Tim

Photos by Jen and Chris Creed

Have you noticed that our wonderful world is becoming so much more accessible when it comes to affairs of the heart? Take Cori and Tim, for instance. American girl Cori found the love of her life, Tim, in Australia.  Their November 2 Cedarwood wedding in aqua and red is both rich and festive, especially when infused with pageantry and colorful favors representing both countries. The whole celebration is a fusion of Elegance (the outdoor cathedral ceremony is stunning, as is the amazing Designs in Paper gate fold invitation suite), Fun (their cute pooch bulldogs, Sadie and Babs were delightful), and Festive (colorful cupcakes with a ‘Tiffany box’ topper!)  Tim’s father happens to be the CEO of Taco Bell (yep, THE Taco Bell) and was able to commandeer one of the company’s deluxe taco trucks for late night snacks. Guests ate it up….such a perfect ending to the evening. Jen and Chris Creed have impressed once again with their wonderful photos. Enjoy.

What an amazing day! Congratulations Cori and Tim. Thanks for allowing Cedarwood to be part of your love story. Kudos to Jen and Chris Creed for the great photos!  And how does an Aussie-American love story go?  Read on!

“Tim moved to Nashville from Australia almost 3 years ago for work. He met Cori shortly after living in Nashville and they had an instant connection. They met on an outdoor patio in east Nashville and of course Cori had her loveable English Bulldog Sadie by her side. Tim and Cori had an instant connection and Sadie didn’t think he was so bad either J They started seeing one another several times a week instantly. The more time they spent together the more they found they had in common. Tim is a very laid back guy who doesn’t say much, and Cori is very outgoing and at times overly excitable. Tim was able to bring Cori down when she needed it while Cori was able to bring him out of his shell. This is what makes them work. Although they have a lot in common their opposites really did attract J They soon became integral parts of one another’s lives… meeting one another’s friends and families, taking trips together, adopting another puppy together, and eventually talking about spending their lives together. In November 2012, a few days before Thanksgiving Tim took Cori to one of their favorite restaurants in downtown Franklin, TN. At a secluded table under candlelight Tim proposed to Cori by using pictures of their two Bulldogs with signs popping the question. Their wedding at Cedarwood was more wonderful than they could have ever imagined. It was the most perfect way to start their journey together as one. Today they are still taking adventures together and moving to San Francisco late February to start yet another chapter of their lives together. The future looks bright and they can’t wait to experience it together.”
