Krista and Luke were both born and raised in Indiana, met in college and then moved to Washington, D.C. five years ago.  We love the fact that they found Cedarwood while searching Pinterest for wedding inspiration!  And because Krista and Luke love the outdoors and spending time hiking, camping and biking together, they naturally  were drawn to an outdoor wedding venue.  We are glad that place was Cedarwood!  Because this was a destination wedding, Krista and Luke wanted to create an event their family and friends will remember as a special time – comfortable, effortless and fun.  Photographer Evan Perigo even traveled to Nashville from Chicago to capture Krista and Luke’s celebration and we enjoyed seeing his lovely images, including an abundance of property photos (see them here!)
Krista selected chic watercolor printed bridesmaids dresses, which set the color palette in dreamy tones of peach, orange, cream and blue.  Combining vintage decor like antique colored glass, vintage buttons  and old tea tins,  with rustic elements like burlap, wood boxes and tree stumps, we were able to style their celebration as a perfect reflection of their personalities and lifestyle.  Enjoy Krista and Luke’s watercolor-inspired celebration featuring the natural outdoor beauty of our historic farm.
We are so smitten with this wedding! Congratulations Krista and Luke, and thanks for trusting Cedarwood to create this lovely celebration for you. Thanks also to Evan Perigo for sharing photos with us!
