We were smitten with Emily and Craig the first time we met with them.  They moved to Nashville from Ohio and Iowa, respectively,  for Emily to attend graduate school at Vanderbilt.  Fortunately they also chosen Nashville for their wedding, and Cedarwood as their wedding venue!  Craig immediately  won our hearts  by listing his transitory occupation as “Awesome Dude.”  And yes, he is awesome, and pursuing his dream career as a music industry lighting designer!  Emily and Craig chose natural, woodland-rustic styling for their October wedding, incorporating seasonal elements with jewel toned florals – a gorgeous combination.  Chesley Summar Photography captured the love and lovely details of Emily and Craig’s wedding day, and we are excited to share them with you, as well as comments from Chesley!

From Chesley: “Emily & Craig got married last month on a gorgeous fall day, and I’m so happy to finally share these images with you!  Cedarwood is definitely one of my favorite venues, and they made sure this day  flowed flawlessly!  All of the fall florals, pine cones, and acorns were the perfect touches to set the tone for the day, as was Emily’s amazing beaded lace gown from The White Room.  I have so many photos to share from this fabulous day, so I’ll let them do the talking!  Special thanks to Paula Abernathy for assisting me at this wedding and to Cedarwood’s wonderful staff!!”
