Wow. These photos of Lauren and Charlie at sunset are so stunning, we had to share them first. For more fabulousness from Justin Wright Photography and Lauren’s own description of her wedding vision, read on!
From Lauren: “Charlie and I decided to get married in Nashville because it’s where we met and fell in love. We had two priorities when selecting a venue for our wedding: that it be uniquely and 100% “us” and that our dog, Tango, be included in the celebration. Few things represent “us” as well as our home, so we wanted our wedding style to reflect the decor of our apartment. When I first saw the mismatched mirrors in Cedarwood’s barn I was convinced we needed to get married there; Charlie and I spent many weekends scouring the flea market to find the perfect mismatched collection of mirrors to hang in our living room. Almost all of the other design elements were also drawn from our apartment as well. The grey and white stripes into our decor were pulled from the grey and white striped walls in our dining room. I used extra save-the-dates and invitations to make the letters on our “SWEETS” banner.”
One of Lauren’s favorite elements was the Cupcake Collection school bus, which she and Charlie arranged to deliver sweet treats to wedding guests. Lauren is a special education teacher and says, “My job is such a huge part of who I am, so it made perfect sense to have the Cupcake Collection bus provide dessert.” Lauren’s family is from New Jersey where traditional hotel weddings reign supreme, so she says, “To say that my parents were a bit nervous when they first heard our wedding vision would be an understatement. However, they will be the first to tell you that Cedarwood exceeded their expectations ten-fold. It was the most beautiful, fun, memorable day.”
Congratulations Lauren and Charlie, on making your wedding perfect and personal. And to adorable Tango for his canine contribution! Thanks to Justin Wright for sharing images with us!
