Kadie at Cedarwood by Ace Photography

Photos by Ace Photography

The Cedarwood Nature Preserve is one of our favorite areas for beautiful lighting and photography when brides are willing to venture a bit into the wild side of our property.  This bridal portrait session happens to be especially dear to us since it is of our lovely niece Kadie White, by Arline Beets of Ace Photography.  Arline has photographed two of three Cedarwood family weddings and she has become ‘family’ to us.  Now that Kadie is officially Mrs., we can share a few of her beautiful bridal portraits (there are many more taken around Cedarwood grounds and all beautiful!)

We chose this series of Kadie with our 1950 red Chevy truck in the wildflower field because they are vibrant and full of personality. We fondly remember how our sister Cindy (Kadie’s mother and a younger spitin’ image) had to have a red truck after graduation although her friends were into luxury rides!  These photos of Kadie also remind us of our famiily affection for farms and mixing beauty with rustic to create Cedarwood’s signature country chic style. Bare feet and a bejeweled mermaid gown surrounded by wildflowers and weeds just makes sense to us!  Let us know how you feel!
