We love vintage treasures, especially items that grow more beautiful with time. Aged (and rusted) metals, wood and glass become as delicate as fine wine when paired with beautiful flowers and candlelight, like the Patina Wedding Inspiration showcased at the 2013 Cedarwood Style Show and in this series of photographs by Kristyn Hogan.
Cedarwood Wedding Director, Kortni Wells (who also happens to be a fashion design graduate), pulled together vintage ensembles for herself and Logan, who ventured into the Cedarwood Nature Preserve at dusk for a series of photos to show just how romantic early March spring can be. Illuminated with dozens of candle lanterns, the intimate setting integrates perfectly with our richly-organic Patina Styled Reception featuring rust, wood and vintage amber. (We even found rare antique amber glass flowers to create a unique bridal bouquet!) Bathed in candlelight and soft romantic flowers entwined with twigs, vines and berries, our Patina Wedding Inspiration is rustic yet refined.
Our heartfelt thanks to Kortni and Logan for modeling for the Cedarwood Design Team’s Patina Wedding Inspiration, and to Kristyn Hogan for these stunning photographs (I couldn’t choose just a few!)
Thanks also to Donette and Steve of Designs in Paper for the spot-on-perfect paper goods to compliment our Patina vision. We are excited that the acclaimed wedding style blog, Green Wedding Shoes, featured our work!
