Executives Chuck and Jo Ellen McDowell are just as comfortable traveling to exotic locations like French Polynesia as they are kicking back to a set of bluegrass in down home Fairview, Tennessee. As the Senior Director of Events Management for the Country Music Hall of Fame, Jo Ellen knows a thing or two about southern legacies and celebrations. So naturally we are honored that Jo Ellen and Chuck choose Historic Cedarwood for their sensational September 23 wedding. True to their lifestyle and personalities, Jo Ellen and Chuck balanced their wedding between southern down-to-earth hospitality and sophisticated style. It was rustic-romantic perfection.
Gorgeous late summer berries, flowers and succulents in woodland style florals incorporated natural elements like moss, twigs and stones. The finest champagne, served alongside their signature drink “Go Go Jo Jo Juice,” reflects the essence of the day: fancy and fun. Speaking of fun, check out the wedding party’s formal attire with tennis shoes! Custom invitations and paper goods with tones and textures reminiscent of burlap and tin by Designs in Paper were a spot on compliment to Chuck and Jo Ellen’s custom Hatch Show Print guest book poster. Jo Ellen’s daughter, Ferrell, and Chuck’s sons, Charles and Cameron, stood by them throughout this delightful day of love and celebration, making ‘new family memories’ documented by the talented photographer Mary Rosenbaum. We are so enthralled with Jo Ellen and Chuck’s wedding day images, we’ve prepared a two-part feature! There’s much more to share and we don’t want you to miss a thing!
