Heather and Declan’s lovely November 9 wedding at Historic Cedarwood, was a glorious celebration of faith, love and happiness. Getting married in a Catholic Church was important to Declan and Heather, and their ceremony at Saint Mary of the Seven Sorrows was stunning. Equally stunning was the late fall setting awaiting guests at Cedarwood for their reception celebration. A champagne welcome in the front lawn, followed by cocktails in the barn gave Krista Lee Photography time to capture a series of sunlight infused images of Heather and Declan on the Cedarwood nature preserve. We must say that this is our fave couples portrait session of the year! Amazing.
Heather and Declan’s styling was natural and rustic with a pallet of green, cream, gray and neutrals. Seasonal fall elements like moss, acorns, hedge apples and river rocks added to the fresh and elegant look. We are obsessed with Heather’s bouquet using shades of green, cream and ivory including Lenten roses, Ferns, Hydrangea, White Peonies and the always impressive and exotic Slipper Orchids! Heather was radiant (check out her fantastic hair style, dress and veil) and we haven’t seen a happier couple than Heather and Declan. Enjoy their day as photographed by Krista Lee.
Heather and Declan’s wedding feature is the first of a new gallery format for the Cedarwood Blog. Click on the thumbnails below for a full size view of each image by the talented Krista Lee Photography. Thanks Heather and Declan for being a beautiful part of this sacred place.
