So excited to see that Jessica & Joe’s Cedarwood Wedding was featured as the top Country Wedding of 2012 on Rustic Wedding Chic’s end of the year blog countdown. Krystal Mann‘s great photography and Jessica and Joe’s wonderful wedding day vision came to life at Cedarwood, even with a bit of rain (just to show that wedding day rain can be wonderful!!!)

From Jessica: “Our wedding was really perfect because it felt like we were getting married at home. Not only because we were surrounded by our closest family and friends, but because Cedarwood has such a beautifully charming home atmosphere. We definitely wanted our wedding to feel very casual and laid back, and I think Cedarwood captured that feeling perfectly. It was not hard to make decisions because the existing space was already so beautiful. The flowers, decor, and ambiance were completely us. We also loved bringing in one of our favorite foods for the wedding. It really brought us full circle in our relationship: Copper Kettle from Joe’s Lipscomb days, Cheerwine from Jessica’s time at UT, and Joe’s favorite childhood cookies. Another thing that made our wedding special was the music: our favorite Avett Brothers song lyric on the cake, walking down the aisle to a Johnny Cash song, and our first dance to an Otis Redding song. But most of what made our wedding so special was getting to share it with the people who are the most important in our lives.”
Congrats (again) Jessica and Joe, and all the amazing people who supported your wedding planning and special day. We are proud and grateful to be among them! Also thanks to Krystal Mann for capturing the day so beautifully, and a warm thanks to Maggie Lord of Rustic Wedding Chic for sharing!
