Cedarwood Farm Wedding Style :: Burlap+Tin, Part 2

Photos by Kristyn Hogan

Farm weddings are wholesome, full of southern romance and old fashioned charm!   Cedarwood, a Tennessee historic farm is known for it’s warm, homey feeling and natural setting for gorgeous photography. The farm’s 50 acres is a perfect setting for wedding day camaraderie and fun and a great destination wedding option for couples looking for southern chic styling.

The Cedarwood design team styled this editorial wedding shoot with a casual farm aesthetic, using burlap and galvanized tin, balanced with romantic flowers and sweet southern touches.  Decor accents that would be found on a farm,  like a feed trough from the property’s barn turned into a table, antique canning jars in a vintage pie safe, and organic farm milk and cookies, give the reception a carefree feeling.  Fun for guests include an original toss game called “Hitched” designed by Cedarwood and our “Blossom and Twig Tic Tac Toe”, a tandem bike and rope swing – plus the joy of romping in lots of fresh green terrain!   Bride and groom crossword puzzles (part of the paper suite by Designs in Paper) were fun reception table conversation starters and a Popcorn Bar and  “Joe to Go” perked up guests for the ride home.
