When Nashville based wedding gown designer, Karen Hendrix Couture’s French-inspired gown, “Vivienne” was selected for the entrance display at the Fall New York Bridal Fashion Week, Cedarwood teamed up with Ace Photography and Karen Hendrix for a springtime inspiration shoot at Historic Cedarwood using her “Vivienne” wedding gown. We’re so happy that Monique of French Wedding Style featured it on her internationally chic blog.
Monique says, “I was delighted when this Gone with the Wind meets Coco Channel styled photo shoot landed in my inbox, full of exquisite details and personal touches to provide style ideas for all sizes of weddings. Submitted by the team at Cedarwood Weddings, who teamed up with Ace Photography and Karen Hendrix Couture for a wedding fashion inspiration shoot at Historic Cedarwood using the “Vivienne” wedding gown.”
“From one “Vivienee” to another Vivien who played the award winning Scarlett O’Hara in the iconic Gone with the Wind, the dress and the styling of the photo shoot has a southern vintage vibe accented with Parisian chic touches to provide dramatic yet elegant wedding style inspiration. There are so many details of this wedding photo shoot that I love including the Paris guest postcards, hot pinks flowers and my favourite the vintage door knob thank you favours just priceless. And no french inspired wedding would be complete without macaroons whether as part of a Laduree inspired dessert or as a delicious wedding treat below wrapped in rustic brown paper.” Click here to view the entire post on French Wedding Style.
We love working with Arline, Tiffany, Doug and Miles of Ace Photography. You outdid yourselves on this one! Congrats to Karen Hendrix Couture for your success at New York Fashion Week, and allowing us to showcase your lovely gown. And a big thanks to Monique of French Wedding Style for publishing our inspiration shoot on your chic wedding style blog!
