We love this photo of Megan and Michael at their September 5 Cedarwood wedding celebration. Megan (graphic artist entrepreneur –check out her fantastic wedding invitations below) defines her wedding style as rustic yet sophisticated, elegant yet restrained, feminine yet fashion-forward. That pretty much sums up her stunning Maggie Sottero wedding gown and the whole wedding vibe – an asymmetric attraction of opposites that together is grander than its parts.
For example … using Baby’s Breath (lots of Baby’s Breath)-so back in chic- with unusual flowers like Ornamental Kale, Chocolate Cosmos and Snowberries paired with romantic, dainty flowers like Waxflower and Stock in shades of lilac, purple and lavenders. French blue and Alabaster, burlap and silver. All six bridesmaids carrying bouquets of a single type of flower, monochromatic, yet coordinated. A summer Tuscan themed dinner and take home favors of strawberry shortcake in mason jars. Cocktails in the barn and lawn Croquet. Antique medicine bottles and mason jars filled with flowers before an elegantly decorated candlelit dinner. Jack Daniels and Champagne punch. Sophisticated white brocade wedding cake on a rustic wood plateau. Fluffy Baby’s Breath centerpieces, pale toned linens and vintage mercury glass. So chic. So unique. So Megan! Enjoy this wedding through the photos of Austin Gros Photography.
We love this wedding design, overflowing with simple, chic style.
