There’s a chic sophistication in simplicity.  Especially during springtime at Historic Cedarwood when the southern countryside and new love are the focus of the day.  Our beautiful bride Gabrielle and the love of her life took full advantage of the burst of spring beauty when planning their casually elegant April 21 wedding.  In an understated yet stunning Oscar de la Renta gown from b.Hughes bridal, Gabrielle raidated natural elegance.  Every photo of her, taken by the amazing Lesli and Bill Emmetts of  Divine Images, is so good it was impossible to choose just a few (which means click here to view Part 2 of this post.)

Divine Images also perfectly captured the beauty of Cedarwood in springtime with verdant countryside, blossoming trees and a freshness that you can feel. Soft Wedgwood blues, greens and cream flowers on classic ivory linens – paired with a touch of sparkle burlap – helped marry the natural+elegant wedding design.  Spring brides have the most wonderful crop of cut flowers to choose from, and Gabrielle’s selection of viburnum, ranunculus, berzelia, orchids, delphinium, lilies, tulips and Dutch iris created a major wow factor in her freshly coordinated wedding decor.
