Rustic Romantic : Design We Love

Photos by Cedarwood Staff Photographer, Aspen Cook-Hall

Today, we’re showcasing one of our favorite wedding styles – Rustic Romantic – featuring design elements from bouquet to arrival decor to guest book to ceremony to reception tables to cake and catering tables! These floral and decor details were photographed by our staff photographer, Aspen Cook-Hall, to show how event design should seamlessly flow through every aspect and activity of a wedding.  Wedding flowers, decor and design services are included in every Cedarwood wedding package, lovingly created by our team led by our super talented, award-winning master designer, Karen Wright.

We adored working with our stylish bride Krista Andrews to plan and design her nuptials to Christopher Crawford.  Krista was overflowing with creativity and passionate about  planning her wedding. Today there are so many great ideas and inspirations available to brides, the process of condensing elements into a cohesive design can be challenging. But when it’s done, the result is immersion into ‘a feeling’ whether it be romantic, whimsical or retro. We love this rustic romantic wedding – the earthiness overlaid with layers of sweet elegance,  such as:  Krista’s hand made ‘coffee filter’ paper garlands draping the upper balcony of the house and ceremony chairs — so sweet! We  love her crystal drops, cameo and pearls alongside rustic burlap, moss, twigs, and lanterns laden with romantic garden roses and hydrangea.   We also love her Polaroid photo booth with a vintage linen and bunting backdrop,  sapling tree favors tied with twine, and the stunning wishes tree dripping with crystals. RUSTIC. ROMANCE. SWOON.

“More, more, more,” you say? These in-house style preview photos by Cedarwood are just getting you warmed up.  Stay tuned for Krista and Christopher’s official wedding photographer’s photos, coming soon!

Your wedding was beautiful! Could you please respond where you purchased your lanterns and also the saplings. Thanks.

Hi Cindy, Cedarwood owns the lanterns. We purchased them from various home decor stores. We added the moss and flowers to them for tabletop decor. As far as the saplings for favors, try http://www.greenworldproject.net/wedding.htm
Thanks for stopping by the Cedarwood Blog!

Love your beautiful wedding decor! How did you hang the mason jars with flowers in front of the tables? I would love to do this at my daughter’s wedding and put the bridesmaids bouquet in them. Thanks!

We used table clamps on the back side of the table, and the jars were attached by twine to the clamps. You can find clamps at hardware stores. Good luck, and thanks for reading our blog!
