What happens when weather forces a change in wedding day design? We make it better! When the Nashville weather forecast called for a 70% chance of rain on Erin Story and Scott Weyers‘ May 21 wedding day, we knew it meant implementing Plan B. But we promised Erin and her amazing mom Pricilla Story that we would make it just as beautiful. Since Erin had planned on using Cedarwood’s Outdoor Cathedral, we had some big expectations to fill! The Cedarwood design team rolled up our sleeves and within 24 hours, ordered a beautiful high double peak tent from Music City Tents, contracted with Blue Nova and Nashville Event Lighting for draping and up-lighting, modified our flower and event design to create the most dazzling tented ceremony ever. In fact, we declare a tie between this and the original plan!
As it turned out, it did not rain on May 21 (dang it weather man, but thank you weather) allowing Erin and Scott and their top shelf photography team, Dove Wedding Photography, to take full advantage of the Cedarwood grounds for some amazing images. The tented ceremony was so beautiful, we suspect most of Erin and Scott’s 190 wedding guests thought it was designed that way from the start.
