Kate Lainhart and Matt Schefft’s September 13 Cedarwood wedding was indeed, green. Their fashion and floral color palette merges with Cedarwood’s natural landscapes to fully integrate the style of this eco-chic organic farm wedding. Kate and Matt’s wedding party radiated fun from start to finish.
We loved Kate’s processional with dad Stephen Lainhart and mom Andrea – great parents and gracious hosts! Kate and Matt personalized their ceremony by writing their own vows and we love the reverse position of the minister, allowing guests to see the bride’s and groom’s faces during the wedding.
Let the celebration begin! Krystal Mann got some fantastic shots of the Cedarwood pavilion and property! Adding soft lounge seating from Liberty Party Rental along with Cedarwood’s accent lighting gave the reception a posh feel.
The one deviation from the color green was Kate and Matt’s Patty Cakes wedding cake. Blue flowers are perfectly accented by the blue coiffured ceiling of Cedarwood’s double parlor. We created a natural tablescape for the cake and used our wood cake plateau (cut from a tree that fell on the property!) to carry out the green wedding theme. Love their custom carved wood monogram cake topper!
Evening at Cedarwood is especially festive and elegant. With deejay Mad Dog rockin’ the party into high gear, Kate and Matt take time out for a romantic interlude in the gardens before a sparkling grand farewell.
Krystal, you are a photo god. Kate, you are a green goddess, and Matt, you are a very lucky man (is it too soon to call you doctor?) Thanks for entrusting the Cedarwood planners, designers and event team to bring your wedding vision to life!
