Diamond Day : Katherine+Andrew

Photos by Richard Suter Photography

Katherine West is a pure bred Southern beauty, through and through.  She and her mother, Monica West, wanted Katherine’s October 9 wedding to Andrew Misagal to be a charming Southern Classic celebration, elegant in a relaxed, un-stuffy way.  The design was refined with delicate flowers like ranunculus, anemones, vintage roses, freesia and hydrangea and a color palette of pink, blush, ivory, champagne and espresso.  Katherine’s bouquet is one of our favorites of the year.  Wrapped with a lace and button cuff from her mother’s wedding dress, this bridal bouquet is priceless!

Lush florals at every turn, custom designed and embellished printed goods (like love story booklets for every guest) and the stunning fresh flower wreath on Cedarwood’s Outdoor Cathedral, were among exquisite detailing grounded by countryside freshness and a big dose of feel-good, easy-going fun. We especially love the pics of Katherine in cowboy boots on our vintage sofa and the playful barn photos of her riding our signature bicycle.  Richard Suter Photography shot their debut Cedarwood wedding for Katherine and Andrew and we think they definitely earned an invite back :)  Katherine and Andrew’s day was as lyrical as the song, “What a wonderful world.” We hope you feel it too.

Dreamy soft colors, graceful hosts Scott and Monica West, and perfect warm October weather are just a few of the to-die-for details of this day. We heard many guests raving about Katherine and Andrew‘s Cedarwood celebration and the greatest reward for us is knowing that we helped our clients realize their wedding day dream.  This note from Monica West made our hearts glow for a good while.  She writes:

“I can’t begin to express how wonderful EVERYTHING was for Katherine and Andy’s October 9 wedding!  The flowers were EXQUISITE, as were the table settings, the grounds, the food, and your direction-it couldn’t have gone more smoothly.  We have received nothing but rave reviews from all of our guests.  Many said they have NEVER been to such a beautiful, fun, warm and personal wedding.  The minister, Steve Scott, said he has never tasted a better wedding cake and he has eaten A LOT of those!  At least three couples told us they want their daughters to marry at Cedarwood.  I suppose the daughters will have a say, but why wouldn’t they agree? Thank you all for your attention to detail and your ever-sunny personalities.  It was a joy to work with all of you and the resulting event was, according to my daughter’s grandmother, “Perfect.”  My father noticed the slant of the sun and how it lit up the altar area and bestowed a seeming benediction on the ceremony…I told him I imagined you had sort of planned that when placing the pews! I only regret I don’t have another daughter to be married at wonderful Cedarwood!”

Thanks so much!  And congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Misagal! Thanks again to Richard Suter Photography for sharing your wonderful work.
